Our Community

Our Tenafly school communities also consist of various diverse organizations that help to support our schools, teachers, students and families.  Get to know them!

  Tenafly Educational Foundation

For nearly 30 years, Tenafly Educational Foundation has been sponsoring teacher-initiated grants that enhance academic experience and creativity at Tenafly Public Schools for programs and equipment that the school budget is unable to cover.  Annual district-wide fundraising events include: Tenafly 5K Run and Dog Walk; Harlem Wizards; Thank-a-Teacher Program, etc.

  Tenafly Chemical & Alcohol Prevention

CAP's goal is to inspire the youth of Tenafly to become contributing, productive members of the community, through personal courage, good decision making and the awareness that their choices have consequences. TenaflyCAP supports raising awareness of making smart choices during adolescent years, which will set a positive standard for their adult life.  Check out the Daily Affirmations on our Facebook page:

  Tenafly PASET

PASET is a parent organization designed to facilitate the exchange of information and promote advocacy in an effort to ensure that all children have an effective, healthy, rewarding school day, each and every day.  Our group is a welcoming place for parents to turn to when they are navigating the uncharted territory of Special Education.

We work together with District Administrators to help develop town programs, sponsor meetings and arrange guest speakers to discuss areas of concern and interests in our schools.  Our topics vary and included: Special Education Programs, Social and Emotional Wellness, Social Media Dangers, Bullying, Anxiety, Staff Team Building Programs, etc.

Our monthly meetings are currently held virtually and in-person, concurrently, the first Wednesday of each month at 9am.  Immediately following, we meet with the district for the monthly SEPAC meetings, which will be held virtually at this time.  The access links for these meetings can be obtained by contacting:
